what we believe

Foundry414 church practices progressive Christianity built on the foundation that

Jesus equally welcomes people of all backgrounds, races, sexual orientation, genders and cultures.

As a non-denominational church, the Nicene Creed shapes our beliefs.

Our goal is to help you experience God for yourself, rather than

telling you what to believe.

We hope to provide a safe environment and meaningful

relationships to help you navigate faith.

I believe in God, The Father Almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried;

he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again;

he ascended into heaven,

he is seated at the right hand of the Father,

and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.

our name

Why foundry?

God created us with interests, personalities & gifts that long to be known

and expressed in a variety of ways.

A foundry captures the idea that there is not a one-size-fits all approach to faith but rather

signifies a place where many expressions co-exist together.

Why 414?

In John 4:14,  Jesus interacts with a woman at a well.

In the course of their conversation He shares these life-giving words to her:

"But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again.

It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life."

  This story communicates both a personal and community promise that has captured our hearts & imagination.
